The founder of Aarja Health, Håkon Volden, grew up in Hammerfest where his family started with fish farming as far north as you can get. A company that he eventually took over the management of and which was listed on the stock exchange with great success. His career in the aquaculture industry has been long and Håkon has played a central role in building Norway's largest export industry after oil and gas. With his expertise and international experience, he was also appointed by the government for a time to the "Forum for increased value creation in business" in Norway.
The idea and foundation for Aarja Health was created by Håkon and Elisabeth who, after a serious illness, wanted to find a natural path to recovery and balance. They had a great need to regain both stable energy and vitality and build resistance to disease for the future. The products they wanted were not available on the market, so they started their own journey to develop Aarja's dietary supplements to create the best products for themselves, which they have succeeded in. Now they continue their journey that YOU can also be a part of!
Co-founder, Elisabeth Strifeldt, is originally from Sami ancestry and has always felt a strong connection to nature. Through Aarja, she wants to reclaim the lost wisdom of nature, about how we can use nature to heal ourselves. She has a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and has extensive experience in branding and marketing. Elisabeth is behind the design for Aarja Health, from packaging to logo and website.
Diego is the co-founder of Aarja Health and a key figure behind the development of our effective dietary supplements. In close collaboration with our highly qualified Finnish developers, he has helped create products of a quality that speaks for itself. Diego has always had a clear philosophy: to create products that are so good that they don’t need marketing – they will sell themselves.
As a certified naturopath specializing in medical biomagnetism, cell microscopy and microbiological laboratory analysis, Diego possesses a unique expertise. He is also an active member of the Association of Natural Therapies in Spain. Through his work, he has helped many people recover from various health challenges – always with high-quality nutritional supplements as an important part of the holistic treatment.
